A growing number of children in the Netherlands suffer from constipation or other bowel or bladder disorders that causes them to lose control of their bowel movements.
Special "poop clinics" in hospitals treat these young patients medically. Often this is a long, difficult and sometimes frustrating process. What has not yet been brought to light is the practical (dirty underwear) and psychological effects on these children. Both for themselves and for their peers who do not understand and/or accept this problem.
Admittedly, the use of UnderWunder children's underwear does not calm the intestinal problem down, but it does help relax the child. That in itself is a great improvement
